Out of my puter chair.... The landlord is cutting down a dead tree next to the house and a huge limb fell across my deck rail!!  Sassy came unglued...
I'm glad theres nothing of real value on my deck or it would be trash right now... like a glass top table ..... Just one of those plastic tables and deck chairs... and an old grill...
Not to mention he's using chain saws too small for the job he was trying to do...
The tree is down now but I was ready to jump away from the window at any moment...
I said a little prayer for him when he had the ladder against the tree and cutting limbs over his head...
I've been out in the woods with my Son when we lived in KY, enough to know, that was a dangerous way to take down a tree...
We used to cut our own firewood and cut for the wood program...

| Did yall hear on the news about the lady who was doing dishes...went outside to smoke and a huge tree fell into her house and into the kitchen where she had been standing just seconds before? Talk about lucky! |

| I know how you feel! Last summer I was at my Mum in law's house when her very close neighbor was having a huge tree taken out completely. they had the cables tied to it to pull it out into the road away from the houses then cut into it far enough to pull it down, but the guy in the truck pulling pulled too hard, too fast and it snapped the cable sending the 30-something pound clamp that was holding it flying over the houses, luckily it landed in an empty backyard, but the tree was then standing there ready to fall with nothing to influence the WAY it fell! The foreman scurried up there and managed to get it hooked up again but by then we were all way down the road away from the house and tree! |

not quite yet... they are on the roof cleaning off dead limbs and still trimming...
she has been in my face for hours now...
and I have to get in the shower and ready for work...
