Daisy's the same way....to the point where I've had to ban it because she becomes a little Obsessive Compulsive when you try to stop playing!!!

I have a friend who has a Boston Terrier and he plays the Laser-light thing with his dog---she will actually slam her face into the wall trying to get that thing!

Mic loves those!  Unfortunately we don't have one so we use a flashlight   We do tiny little circles and he spins so fast trying to catch the light, and then he walks away all dizzy!   We don't do that to often though for fear of   But when my dad comes to visit he goes straight for the flashlight, thinks its hysterical!!!

That's what Glenna was suggesting we get!  I've  used them with cats before but she says her bf's dog goes nutz for the laser light.

This is beyond nuts. Obsessive compulsive is right! Grammy called me from the pet supply store when Johnny was with his Grammy up in Oregon. I asked her to grab an extra one (they are 2 bucks) and I have one and so does Johnny. I had to hide mine because she wouldn't leave my hands alone. It didn't take her long to figure out the source of the light and scratch me up trying to take it away from me. This dog is a spaz anyway, with the light she is 100% focused, on nothing but the light. I wonder if there's a way to turn that to our advantage and use it as a training tool?? HMM think you savy trainers out there, this is cheap, easy and the dogs go for it 100%. Gotta be a way!

I almost forgot! My alarm clock is one of those that shines the time on your ceiling really big (because I'm blind without my contacts at night...) and I can't even use it anymore... Kevin thought it would be funny to use it like a laser pointer and had the dog climbing our bedroom walls Now that Mic knows the source of that laser light he attacks my alarm clock!

I've tried using one with Lucy before and she does not care. She knows where it comes from and if there is another dog around going nuts she looks at them like "what the heck are you doing?'' I think its so funny to watch dogs go crazy for lazers. My friends Boston tries to bite the light.

Skittles goes all obsessive compulsive too. If she hears you pick it up - just the sound of picking it up makes her go crazy. Don't even have to turn it on, she goes crazy. She LOVES and goes crazy over shiny stuff. Pick up a cd and she will act the same way....mirrors...anything reflective!!

Bailey does the same thing, she loves flashlights and goes crazy when you get one out to look for something. She tries to bite the light too. Last year I was dropping my son off at his Dad's and let Bailey ride with us. Well there was a road block and the policeman shined his flashlight inside my car and Bailey went crazy. I was trying to find my registration and insurance card and she's going crazy. We got through that and dropped Dillon off and came back and had to go through the same thing again with a different cop. It was exciting!
