I got stung by a bee earlier today, and did not like it one bit. I think it was only one of the smaller kind, not the big bumble bees or hornets. It hurt but not for that long, like 10-15 minutes. I was just laying out in the sun with the dogs finishing up From Baghdad With Love (Good story not very well written) and then stung on the toe. Glad I'm not allergic.

It was more of an annoyance. I hadn't been stung in years too.

All better now. It ran away with it's stinger, or at least I didn't see a stinger in me. But I still hope that it died for doing that to me for no reason.

We have what we call "sweat bees" here...little stinkers...they usually hurt for a short time! How are you now?

HAHAHA!  Yes---that bee should PAY for what it did to your toe!
