Up until this last weekend, Baxter HATED getting wet -- he would walk out into the street to avoid being sprinkled by a sprinkler, make mighty leaps over small puddles to keep his little puppy feet dry and barely tolerates a bath.  That all changed Saturday when we went for a long walk in the heat... now, NOW -- he's voluntarily jumping into ponds to cool off!  I couldn't believe my eyes!!  He stuck HIS ENTIRE HEAD UNDER WATER!!!! (but of course I didn't have my camera with me....so it's kind of like a "one that got away" story....

Topper is a lot alike--the dog park has a pond and although he avoided it until recently, this weekend he couldnt stay away! LOL

How funny! I wonder if I could get Mic to do that He's one of those that hates puddles, sprinklers, etc.... He even wears a raincoat when it rains! I want him to like water so much though! I think I'm bringing Mic to the lake this weekend... muahahahaha!

Remember, cameras must be on your person at all times!

Katie hates to go out in wet grass, but is a swimming fool in the lake. Go figure!

We're thinking about taking a few days to go to my BIL's place on the lake, and I'm hoping that Bama will decide he likes to swim. The only other time he's been was 4th of July weekend last year, and he was still so little.

Hmmmm, I wonder if I could fit a kiddie pool on our patio? I could kind of ease Mic into the idea of swimming

We have a creek in our yard...Maxi was water-shy until it got hot, then we couldn't keep him out.

Sassy runs and splashes in puddles just like a kid.. I'm dying to take her to a lake and see what she does...

Hmmm...   It sounds like hot weather & the heat can make them change their minds about water! Only problem here is... I don't think we get HOT enough here to make Holly consider changing her mind about H2O!
