She had a good bath Sunday and I dried her very well. But by today she smells like a dog again. Whats up with that?? |

Now why on earth would Abby smell like a dog?!!  
It's so freakin hot outside lately, that Bella's the same way, just from going outside for a short period of time. |

Well, I don't know WHY my child smells like a dog??? I have some of that doggie perfume at home but I don't like the way it smells. Someone told me to wipe her with a dryer sheet??? |

Hmm, I've never heard that before, but I did buy some of those doggie "bath wipes" they have at PetsMart, they are basically just wet-ones. I got them to use in between baths, and they work okay. Basically just a temporary fix.

I've got some wet ones and she hates those and they don't do such a great job all the time. I hadn't thought about doggy deodorant... |

Bella has never smelled that bad. Even when she has been outside playing, you have to put your nose right up to her to smell anything. She's never been laying beside me and me be able to smell her. Guess I got lucky! |

One of the gals at my work says her dog's feet smell like Fritos! 
Hey Pami--have you ever tried human shampoo on Abby? I know they say you're not supposed to use it, but we've used Pantene shampoo+conditioner ('cuz I think doggy shampoo stinks!) on Baxter since the day we got him & he's never had any problems with it...he smells good for days & it makes his coat all soft & shiny!  |

I got some of the pet wipes for Bama--he hates 'em and I don't want to risk losing a finger trying to wipe him down.
Bama's feet sometimes smell like Fritos, too! That's when I know it's WAY past time for a bath. |

makes sense though, he curls his feet all up when he slepps- hence the stronger Frito smell concentration. |

| Max's feet smell like Frito's too!!!! LMAO!!! I use kids shampoo on Max and Sampson, that way it doesn't irritate their eyes. Of course this means they either smell like Cherry Koolaid or some Dragonfruit scent....depending on what mood the kids were in at the store!!! |

When i wash macie I use my bed head shampoo and a little bit of body wash mixed in.. makes her smell really yuMMY and her skin has never gotten irritated....
She definately smells like corn chips sometimes tho, especially when she sleeps.. My boyfriend calls her his little mexican :-P |
