about pinecones.  We pass lots of them when we walk every day and she doesn't give them a second look.  Is it because she didn't get to go to the Rattie Meetup (in TN) with me and didn't get any training?????

Could be. Lucy could care less about pinecones. Never even picked a single one up. She doesn't even like sticks.
