Hope everyone is having a good day and that it only gets better! 
Still very warm here, but supposed to have strong t-storms off and on - we need the rain so badly, but I hope the storms aren't too bad.

| Supposed to get very hot and muggy here today! We do need rain! Storms due this afternoon...as long as they aren't violent! The OE will go ballistic! Won't have the little ones today as have to take hubby to get a tooth pulled. Should be fun! |

'Morning, everyone. Already getting some rain here---so far it's just a light rain, but supposed to pick up a little as the day goes on. It hasn't rained here for any length of time for so long, I'm so happy to see it---it even smells good! |

| Morning Everyone! We had the rain yesterday (a good amount) and the weather has taken a wonderful turn. It's 62 degrees and yesterday was the first day in a long time we could OPEN the windows, Yea...Sleeping with the windows open and feeling the real air instead of air conditioning. Hope everyone has a wonderful day, I'm off today and plan on doing some catch up stuff. Hope ya all get that rain that is soooo needed... |

| We are supposed to get off and on rain today -- even got a sprinkle last night. The weather guy said it wouldn't be enough to really help much, but at least it's some and will settle the dust. It looks like rain right now! Yippee! |

Morning Rattie Family! Got a little rain late yesterday pm and evening. Not much thunder so Max was okay
Had to walk up 11 flights of stairs this morning - all 3! elevators were not working.  I guess that at least 1 is working now according to my boss ( who got here early for once)

Good morning all!! I just got back from taking Austin to baseball camp...at 8:45 this morning it was already 84* it is definitely Summer in the Carolina's...Hot Hazy and Humid!!!!!! I'm not sure if the weatherman said it would be today or tomorrow, but we are supposed to get around 2" of rain....we really need it!! I just pray that it cools things down a bit and we get to have a nice comfortable weekend. We are having a big cookout Saturday for my and Blake's bdays! (Mine is Friday and his is Monday!) My little baby will be 5yrs old..I can't believe it. Something about that 5yr mark makes me feel like I've really lost my baby and he is now an official "big" kid. Soon he'll be doing like Austin did me this morning.... I got his stuff out of the truck and he asked him if he wanted me to walk him to the gate, he just rolled his eyes and told me "Mom, Please...I'm not a baby..I can walk by myself!!" Then I asked him if he wanted a kiss goodbye (knowing he didn't...just picking on him) and he practically BEGGED me not to embarrass him like that!!  I guess he doesn't need his Mom anymore! (unless of course he can't find his cleats, or his glove, or his shirt, or he can't get his bag packed right....) |

Brandy, I was taking my oldest son to a sleepover when he was 10. He stopped me before we walked out our front door and said if I wanted to kiss and hug him I'd better do it then cause he wasn't going to let me do it in front of any of his friends. 
But now, at 20 and 17 years old, my sons will hug me in public again! |

Happy Tuesday! I'm going to clean out my closet today and finish laundry, so I won't be having much fun.  I just checked the Weather Channel online, and it SAYS we're supposed to have thunderstorms this afternoon and have a high of 80 (humidity at 79%...) Now, if it WILL just rain. I do see some clouds, so maybe!!!!!! |

You'll still be an embarassment to him, but he'll just hug you and pat your head fondly, shrug to his friends, and say what else can I do?   |
