I havent heard anything today, but Donna has been calling me at home all last week, and I had to go back to work today.  Has she called anyone today with a report?

HEY!  it's 3:35 pm here, and Donna just called.

Josh is doing a LOT BETTER today  Swelling has gone down a little--especially in and around his face, and she says he is beginning to look more like himself again.  Still sedated heavily, and semi-unconscious.  He hasn't fully woke up yet, but they are keeping him in that state while all the tubes etc are hooked to him.  The liver biopsy will be done Thursday, and they aren't going to cut a piece of it off, like was first planned-- just take a needle and take a "core sample" which is a better way to do it---that much less to have to heal later.  He has a lot of scar tissue on the outside of his liver, and they suspect the same inside, but that's what the test will show.  He is urinating on his own much better today, and that's a real REAL good thing.  Donna finally got some rest---she slept all night.  Her husband stayed with Josh so she could sleep in a real bed at the Ronald McD House, but they started painting the McD house today, and paint fumes were coming in through the a/c, so she had to leave---she was heading back to Josh's room.

Guys, he still is in serious shape right now, but  it's looking like that light at the end of the tunnel is getting closer and closer!

Oh thank God.. I have thought about them all night at work and couldn't wait to get home and log on to see if there was any news..
Even tho Josh has a long road ahead, it sounds like our prayers were heard..
And too happy that Donna got some rest...
Prayers and thoughts continue from here....
