My first day back at work since Tuesday of last week---trying to keep a smile on my face, but it's hard to do!
Going to be another HOT, HUMID day here---looks like a drop of rain in the forecast for later on this week. we sure do need it.
Hope everyone has a great start to a great week  (I'm trying to be optimistic---not my nature to be so cheerful on a Monday) |

| Good morning Paul. I slept late -- those grandkids wore me out and the other batch (from Memphis) are coming next weekend (yikes) Mom and Dad will leave on Tuesday,but gkids will stay the week (double yikes). It is another hot one here today - we so desparately need rain --- does anyone know how to do a rain dance and send it this way. There will be a shortage of hay this year,if this keeps up. |

Good morning~ Looks like rain! Noooooo! I am going to the College World Series baseball game this afternoon. (You can rain after 4pm )They said storms later this morning and all throughout the day~~

| Good Morning all....I am just happy to be on the site....I start training 2 new dispatchers tommorow so I am relaxing today!!!! Hope everyone has a great one and I hope all you daddy's had a great fathers day...my daughter made my husband a slide show on the computer of old pics of him and the kids....we were all crying by the end....the very last pic was one of his dad that died a couple yrs ago.....She did a great job...well love you all and I am off to catch up on many many many pages of posts.... |

| Morning! I've finished my training at the vet clinic for today and I'm now at the photography studio until 5. I have a pet sit after work, so it is a very busy Monday. This should be a good week though. My birthday is Thursday and I took Friday off work from ALL of my jobs! |

Good morning everyone. We've had hard rains overnight and flash floods in some areas. A four year old girl was swept away by floods when the trailer park she lived in was hit and several trailers knocked off their piers. They found her body this morning.  A couple of main highways north of us are closed due to high waters up to the guard rails. The ground is just so saturated from all the rain we've gotten this spring, that any amount of rain causes floods. |

Don't do like my cousin did at her wedding a week ago Saturday. She cried all the way down the aisle and practically throughout the whole wedding. I'm assuming they were happy tears.  |

I don't know about a dance, but leaving my car windows down worked for me.

We soooo need rain... I haven't had to mow since Memorial weekend... my lawn is toasted...
I do have a Native American rain stick.. maybe I should shake it .....and do a rain dance...

| May as well try Jan! My husband is a water witch but that only works for ground water... high of 83 here today with 10mph winds... I am so bloody tired of wind! The California hills are turning gold and crispy... fire season is on its way. |

OH HOW COOL IS THAT???? I had a well site discovered once by a water witch---he was an old man about 85 yrs old named Emery---I needed to have a well dug, and had no idea where the underground vein was. Someone told me about Emery, and he came out with his forked willow branch......I watched him work. He was right on the money, too! Amazing!

| Yes, in Texas our drought has ended. But too much of a good thing becomes a bad thing...a lot of flooding around us and some loss of life and property damage. Plus, my toes are growing webbing between them. |

Yours was late too...I was standing out in the hallway ready to walk in and the pastor told me I needed to go back in the room cuz John had just gotten there and would come running thru there any second....what......so that started the rest of my life the man is late for everything....sure he will be late for his funeral too.... |
