My sister went out and bought squeaky toys for her two dogs and Sydney and Sonic.  All weekend long, Sonic has been carrying his squeaky toy around and squeaking it non-stop.  Tomorrow when they go to her house for doggy daycare, I am letting him take the toy with so he can so them how much he loves it.  Sydney wants nothing to do with a squeaky toy, she rather kill a stuffed animal.

Know exactly what you mean...Abby's favorite are her squeaky toys! They sure are noisy, but I'm to blame as I bought them for her. Bet after tomorrow your sister will regret buying the toys!!

I am very picky about the kind of squeaky toys I will allow in the house, because if it annoys me in the store, it will annoy me ten times more at home.  I do like the BoBo stuffed dog though and Topper loves them too.  I should buy stock in that company as I go through so many of them. There are two different kinds of squeakers in them but not the high pitched super annoying kind.

Aka adores all his toys both squeaky and non. Last week we were at my friend's business and I saw a mini octopus. It was hard inside the head and when I asked, my friend showed me that when it is tapped it makes a sound that I can't explain but it is a fun sound. Aka's ears went even bigger when he heard it so I got it for him.

He will play with all his toys in the middle of the living room floor. He knows where the squeakers are and sometimes he will have a squeak fit as I call it and other times he will just chew and toss!!

He knows some of his toys by name and when I ask him to bring me say Hippo, he goes and gets his purple hippo! Smart pup.

So far he hasn't driven me to the edge with the squeakers which is good.

Have fun sending Sonic off with his squeaker toy!!!

That is so funny! Mic will do the same thing, sometimes he will just lay on the floor and "squeak" "squeak" "squeak" "squeak" "squeak" for what seems like hours!

I went shopping on Saturday for some new toys, and got a stuffed duck (or a pheasant?) that was an American Kennel Club toy I'd heard lots of people tell me about. Walgreens had them on sale for $6.99. It has the best sounding "squeaker " in a stuffed animal I think we've ever had... and rating this one as one of the best!  An added plus is that (so far) he is still all in one piece too!  Lucy our blind girl is "squeaker obsessed" since she gets so much extra pleasure from things that squeak, since she can't see.  I've learned to be very selective at rating my  "squeakers" because I listen to WAY more "squeaking" that I'd like to... and am very afraid of losing my mind, LOL!  The absolute worst squeaker in my book is the smallest "Bad Cuz" ball!! Does anyone have that ball??? It is enough to make you want to jump off a cliff!!

lol, thats pretty bad.   Well, have to go to work.  We have all our toys ready for the day including the sqeaky.  I am impressed that either one of them have chewed the toys apart however.  Taking them there everyday is just like when my son was little and had to pack his things for daycare.

Lucy loves her squeaky toys!  Her all-time favorite is this little green fuzzy "egg" thing that Mari & Sassie sent her.  It came inside a stuffed turtle, and there are a total of 5 of those squeaky eggs, but I have to hide all but one at a time, or she goes nutty trying to hoard them all up together and squeak them all at the same time! (Sometimes I have to hide ALL of them!----it gets very annoying when I'm on the phone and she jumps up in my lap, squeaking that thing in my face)
