I've started the process regarding your advice on how to curb Cookie's food aggression. Yesterday I took her bowl up and she didn't eat anything all day (seemed fine with it.)
First thing this morning I put a handful of kibble in my hand. She kind of woofed at me first like "what is going on here Mommy? " but then eventually she ate it all. I repeated this tonight.
So far so good....hopefully she will understand it as MY food that I'm letting her "borrow"....is this the mindset I'm going for?? |
