So I was watching Dog Town yesterday and saw a street dog be trained to turn the lights on and off at the switch.  I was wondering what your ratties coolest trick is to give me an idea of what mine should be.

So what is it?  Do you have pictures of video of him/her doing it?

We watched Dog Town also and seen that.  Sonic can wave good bye and does Sleep Dog (dead dog).  Sydney is a ballernia by spinning in the air.

I get very inspired by these kinds of shows. Including its me or the dog (new episode last night). Today we worked on "Touch" with my Curly and Molly. Who knows where this will go, but they got it quickly.

Ivy has a lot of tricks I don't know if they are "cool" but she knows roll over, bow, shake hands, wave bye bye. We are working on play dead, and cover your eyes. The kids really love the wave bye bye. They are just so smart and Ivy just loves learning new things.

Oh Tricks are fun!

Boogie shakes, speaks (a bark) or if you say "tell me???" he mumbles or woofs gently,  hold your hand out and say PAW! and he stands putting both paws in your hand, he will army crawl too.  I am working hard to get him trained so he can get his CGC.

Coolest trick has to be Bunny's though.. she will find lost balls or frisbees with me saying "naw" for wrong direction and "yup yup" for right direction and GET IT! makes her run straight ahead.  No official training on that just something we started doing.  She also will sit and let me put a cube of ice on her nose and wait until I say Okay to pop it and eat it.

Well, Amos doesn't have cute tricks, but he does "sit", "down", "stay" really well. He will fetch the ball and "drop it" at my feet.
LeeLee is just now getting "sit". The best "trick" I could teach her right now is "pee out side!" or even 'pee on the pad!" would be nice too!

Other than the basic obedience commands, Button has "Shake" down pat! Also she will give you a "High Five". Zipper will do both of these most tiimes, but not as consistently. She has been VERY resistant to most training efforts to date. Let's just say training is a work in progress for little Zipper. LOL

The Peanut one has a few tricks - in addition to his sit and down stays he does a nice shake and high five and he is a master belly crawler. Bit too short to be turning on the light switch though...

Rocky does 'roll over' 'high five' 'dance' 'beg' for his tricks, he also knows sit, stay, out, in, load up (get in the vehicle), stop, drop it, OW! (when we play and it gets too rough, a loud OW! and he stops and nuzzles and kisses!) hmm he knows the names of three things too, his BoBo, a ball and Sock.
