I'm home today while Cory works some over time. I'm pretty much just taking it easy, getting some dishes done and what not, but Preston, my cat, is driving me up a wall.

Last night, he slipped the front door open and snuck out of our apartment. He went exploring the upstairs hallway. I caught him within a few minutes, but he must have thought it was a blast. All he has done today is sit at the door and meow/cry. It's driving me crazy. I put him on his leash and let him explore, but he's not allowed out of the apartment other than that. He's an inside cat, and I'm so so so scared he's going to get out and slip out the front door when someone comes in. I don't know what to do to get this obsession out of his head.

My cat does that when he gets out....it does drive you crazy!!! My cat got out the other day, and I had to give him a bath because he was so filthy when I found him.

There is nothing better than wine and chocolate!

He has a basket full of toys. I didn't put anything on the door, but will try that next time. I opened the window, and even went as far as to put him in it, but he just wasn't having anything of it.

Ah! Our cat Cinnamon has been doing that like crazy lately. We're SO glad we have a front screened in porch-- but she's been getting out anyway! Grr...

A friend's older cat decided to take a vacation last week. She slipped out and wasn't spotted for 3 days. They finally cornered her under a crawlspace. Now she's home and doesn't seem to want to wander - until next time.

His name is Hendryx! He's a rat terrier! OK!
