Dear Mama Donna,

I am ok!  I know you worried about me but I just wanted to let you know, I'm ok.

Let me tell you what all has happened since I left  you.  I rode in a pretty pink carrier for a little while.  I sang real pretty for Ma and Pa and after just a few minutes Pa took me out of the carrier.  I sang a little more and then Pa gave me to Ma and I went to sleep in her lap.  The cell phone kept waking me up.  Then we stopped at McDonald's to fill up Pa's gas tank.  I got to ride in my carrier then and no matter how much I sang to my Ma and Pa, they didn't take me out.  Then we made a big turn, and my carrier rolled over. Don't worry, I wasn't hurt, but it got all smelly in the car, and Ma stopped beside the road and she was in the back of the SUV really fussing up a storm and scooping up shrimp and putting them back in a cooler.  We started off again and then stopped again at a gas station.  Ma got 4 rolls of paper towels to soak up the smelly fishy water out of the back.  I got to get out of my carrier and she put me on the grass, but I'm not quite sure why she keeps putting me down on the grass, I would MUCH rather just be in her arms.  The great big world is a scary place.

Then we got back in the car and drove some more and then we got out.  Ma put me down on the grass again.  I still ain't figured out why she keeps doing that??? Do you know?  Then I went in her house and she put me in the bathroom with a puppy pad on the floor.  She had draped the rug over the toilet, so I just crawled up on that and waited.  Then Pa came and got me and I got to meet my BIG brother Amos.  He is very very very big and scary.  Did I mention how BIG he is?  I'm not so sure about him.  My other brother is Smooshy.  He's big too, but not that big and he's not scary.

I got to lay in Ma's lap along time while she was on the 'puter.  I layed on the couch next to Pa for a while too.  He is warm and big and he just kinda ignores me right now, but I will straighten that out in just a little while. 

When it was night time, Ma put me in another pretty pink crate with a pretty pink bed.  I liked it alot, but it was cold and I was crying and shivering.  Ma put a little pink T-shirt on me and held me and played with me for a long time, then she put me back in the crate and no matter how much I sang to her, she did not take me out.  She turned the lights OFF and went to sleep.  I saw her put plastic things in her ears and she put the pillow over her head. 

When it was morning, Ma opened the crate door and called me out and I piddled on the puppy pad.  I did not piddle in my crate 'cuz I didn't want to mess up my pretty pink bed.

We ate break fast already this morning.  I didn't eat very much, but I got to sample what my Big Brother Amos ate and some of what my other brother ate.  Because I ate some of Amos' dog food, I let him eat mine.  'Cuz we are a family! 

I'm sleepy now Mama Donna and Ma is letting me nap in her lap.  Give my brothers a lick from LeeLee

Did you know that there are puppies with feathers?  Ma and Pa have a BUNCH of them.  I ain't so sure about them either, but I will let you know if they cause any trouble for me.

LeeLee, Grandma Donna will always love you, and think of you as her baby grandoggie. I know you will be fine, and grow up to be a fearless, big little girl, rattie. Don't worry too much about Amos. He loves you, and you will learn that all he wants to do is get to know you, and protect you. Hopefully you will let Mama Kim, get some sleep tonight, because she has to go back to work tomorow. It would be nice if you could learn to love big bubby, Amos, then you could snuggle up with him at night, and not be cold. Don't sing too much, or the feathered puppies might get jealous. Or they might start singing like you, then Mama Kim, and Pa Ricky, will feel like they have a whole house full of puppies. Big bubby Smooshy is a nice guy too, so maybe you can practice warming up to him, and work your way up to Amos. Don't be scared, you are at your forever home now. It will all be ok, and feel "right", after a little while. It is nice you shared your puppy food, but remember, you have a special food, to help you grow up strong. Big bubby Amos, is already big and strong. I love you, and I will miss you, but I know you are where you are supposed to be. You little bubbies, J. a. k. e., and Jericho send you their love. Hopefully we can all meet up at the Rat Terrier Jamboree, next year. Keep me updated on how you are adjusting. Please give Mama Kim, and Pa Ricky, some puppy lovin. Remember, you are gonna be spending a lot of time with the boys, while Mama Kim, is at work. So you better start lovin up to them too. Maybe someday, Mama Kim, can take you to work, so you can meet some nice old grandmas and grandpas, too.

Hey,

I played with Amos just a little bit this morning.  He was all excited and doing the Rattie 500 and I ran after him, but when he did a big U turn and came back toward me, he rolled me over and I hollared and Ma saved me.  Ma says Amos wasn't trying to hurt me, he was just running back into the bedroom and I was in the way.  The next time he ran that way, he jumped over me and didn't bump me over.  I think I'm gonna have to teach him how to play with a girl.  He's just a rough ol' boy dog.
