My dad missed the 1st season, but got into the second just to see what all the hype was...got annoyed with "all the repeats" and "too many storylines" so he quit watching. I think if you start from the beginning, you'll love it.  |

I LOVE IT.
I didn't at first, when I just caught an episode or two, but my little sister was a fanatic, and then my third roommate was one too... so when abc.go.com or whatever it is had all the seasons up I went and watched them all. It is the best made show on tv (I'm not saying it's the best, but it is the best made). But because of that-- because every song they play, every detail in the background, EVERYTHING has a meaning and a storyline, it's ridiculously hard just to jump in and start watching. I'd recommend going and seeing it on the abc website if it's still there. |

| I havent watched too much of it and I watched a little of last season and didnt understand what was going on. But everyone I talk to who has watched from the beginning love it. I saw it advertised that they are starting with season 1 and doing a marathon I guess so I thought about watching it. |

| We watched the first two seasons intently. Then they discovered the bunker, then there were people on the island who were weird, and finally there was this pseudopolitical, metaphorical, fantastical, and to us... stupid set of plots. Got turned off, so we turned it off. I got the feeling that after the first couple of seasons they just didn't know where to go with it. |

I rented the first seasons on DVD and I really liked it. The next season comes out in Dec so I will keep watching it. I think it's pretty good.
I started watching Weeds on DVD too, Funny stuff this series. I like this one a little more than lost...... |

| My wife does the same thing when watching TV. She plays solitaire on her Palm; now she's given that up for an iPod Touch. I know those games can get addictive, but I find it annoying after a while. |

I can't stand when people start texting or playing games when I am watching something or eating or anything--It is very irritating to me casue I am not a multi tasker--I need to really focus on what I am doing--not very modern I am afraid!!!
Back to lost--I liked it much better on DVD without the commercials--I recomend people get it on CD if they have net-flix--SCI Fi Channel has much comercials) |
