...and I'm so excited. Just got off the phone with the ladies that I'm meeting up with and we have all the meeting times set up. I will be transporting two ratties from Madisonville to Clarksville Tenn. A female named Twila going to Mary Beth who's gonna call her Alfy and a boy just 5 months old named Ziggy. I hope it all goes well. When I leave Clarksville I will have to head back to Madisonville to my Grandaughters birthday party. She turned 2 today. |

Woo Hoo Nancy, Transports can be so much fun as you get to meet new folks and see (at least for a little while) different ratties. I'm doing a leg this Sunday. Just thankful that it looks like Hanna will not be an issue. Have a safe journey!! |

You know the only thing about doing transports or fostering I would want to take them all home with me and love on them and spoil them for a day or two first. |

I think Nancy and Cheryl will get some lovin' in on the ratties while transporting! Nancy already has a request from me to hug little Twila/Alfy.
Nancy - one of girls who's already transported Alfy a ways says to leave her leash on in the crate...she's a bolter....so watch out for that! |

Wow!! i must've been pretty lucky because i didn't have that problem! lol but she might be a bit confuse and doesn't know who her "favorite" person is yet.
MB, once you get her.... she will be your shadow...... as she did here... where ever i go, she's behind me. she didn't like for me to be out of her sight.
It was kind of cute.... 3-4 dogs would follow me throughout the house......
now i have 2-3 dogs that would follow me.... especially Indy.
Nancy, if you get this message before you leave, please give her a hug from me as well.... she's such a sweetie pie.
Thank you for doing this for Alfie and Ziggy!

Well guys I'm back home, it was a great experience. Stupid me left my camera at home so sorry but no pictures. Alfy, aka Twila the little girl was so sweet and she was so scared, I wanted to bring her home with me. She's so skinny (MB will get some weight on her) and she was shaking most of the time but when I left her at Clarksville, she gave me lots of kisses. The little boy Ziggy was a cutie too, both of them were so small compared to my Bailey. Neither one of them made a peep all the way from Ky to Tenn, Ziggy slept all the way and Alfy did some of the way. I hope I get to do this again soon. Oh and Nora, I wish we could of meet, maybe sometime soon, I'm just a little over a hour from Nashville. |

Thanks so much Nancy! Poor little Alfy, she probably wonders if she's headed back to that awful shelter but she'll figure out that she's never going to a shelter again. I can't wait to love on her! |
