last night a fly got in our house... and it couldnt be the best thing to keep my lil crazy babies occupied!!!! in th edark with just TV light they stalked this flies every move... the ran and jumped walll to wall... sofa to sofa... they came close a few times... but hours of fun and they were POOPed at bed time... WHERE CAN I GET ME SOME FLIES TO RELEASE EVERY SO OFTEN FOR RATTY ENTERTAINMENT!? |

| haha, mine do that sometimes. We get flying bugs in the house when the porch light is on and we open the door to let girls in or out. It's funny cuz the bugs go for the TV and then when they are noticed I have 2 little butts jumping up and down in front of the TV forever. |

| yes!!! mine wised up and realized that the fly would go to the TV area (for the light) so if they lost sight they waited infront of the TV until he came back into sight... it was sooo cute/funny.... but they kept blocking my view of the GIANTS football game!!!! |

| Oh Gianni, be careful what you ask for my dear. You can have mine....ALL millions of them. We have a cow farm down the road and I swear they are ALL OVER. I cannot get them out of my house. The dogs do amuse me with them though. And even the kids have taken to catching them! LOL Sad...... |

| We don't have flies but we get mosquitos in the house...keeps Mayfly occupied for hours! And she's very good at catching them..herds them into a corner then chases them up, hops up on the end of the couch and smashes them against the wall. (Which is white....am hoping the blood comes off....!) |

oh no.. i just want a jar of them... control them and let 1 out every now and again.. lol

| Taz loves chasing flies, so I got one of those lazer pointer cat toys and move it around like a fly. He has a tone of fun with that, we just have to say bug and he starts looking for his prey. |

What if we find DEAD flies (or fake flies), tie them on fishing line, tie the fishing line to a stick and dangle the dead fly around and watch our babies chase that??
I work for a patent law firm....... we can file an application for a patent!!
By the way, my Sandy is obsessive with flies or bugs. Mickey is also, but not nearly as bad as my Sandy girl! |

you can get some flies from my dog parks down here eugh
Nora loves to track them and not kill them and she probably would do it for hours if I did not drag her away---I think ratties are biology students!!! |

| Hendryx is a fly stalker as well. Once in a while we get a few in the house, Hendryx just tracks them down. |

All his life Radar has been FLY HUNTER EXTRAORDINAIRE... he also hunts moths, beetles... any flying bug really (have to be careful if a bee/wasp flies by!)
And then we got Sophie... and she's one too!
But I admit, she's not as good or as determined as Radar. Often you'll be petting him and suddenly he'll get an unfocused look and lunge... at a little gnat or something you weren't even aware was there... |
