Her first puppy (Max) was attacked by a pit bull who jumped her fence and killed it. There is no way that Max's death was in anyway her fault!!!!! Later, she tried to save a lhaso apso that is the one you're remembering, but the animal hadn't bonded with her yet, and ran away and was hit. It was tragic, yes, but it's also not the same situation as a puppy. She took off from work to try to find it, and was very responsible faced with the situation...

Hunter was going to be my second puppy...the lhasa was my neighbors and i tried to help him but he just didn't trust me...i lost my job over that dog trying to find him. then i got Hope from a co-worker which is a rat terrier, but she is also a work in progress, but she's becoming a great dog and i am so attached to her already. yes i have taken in a few animals and couldn't help some, but i do have hope and mr franken kitty at the shop.

this is hope
