Mitch, I don't think of Ace of Cakes or Good Eats as guilty pleasure shows. Well, maybe a little Ace of Cakes but good eats is the scientific one, right? Vickie

I must have read the thread wrong. I don't feel guilty about watching any of the shows I listed.. I actually like these shows.

Kyle XY and anything with vampires in it. Don't forget, I'm a scientist so it really takes something to make me suspend disbelief. My liberal family hates that I was watching and enjoying Generation Kill, and my conservative family pretty much hates everything else that I watch.

i like to watch 1 1. ARMY WIVES 2 HGTV 3 FOOD NETWORK 4 SEVENTH HEAVEN 5 FRESH PRINCE OF BEL AIRE 6 NICK AT NITE 7 CHARMED TLC HALLMARK CHANNEL ANIMAL PLANET YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS DAYS OF OUR LIVES AND OLD RERUNS OF MOVIES

The funny thing is I like a lot of the shows you guys have listed... but I don't think of them as guilty pleasures, just pleasures! I DO feel guilty about Desperate Housewives and Gossip Girl, though I also enjoy them, because a) people who know me personally and hear I watch them and express disappointment in me... and b) they people on them are just so shallow and have such contrasting values to my own... Oh! And another one is Sex and the City, though I actually have kind of faded on that one. I liked it a lot for a while, but now it's kind of old... but the a & b from above apply... And two others, sort of, are Dexter and Weeds. Dexter I LOVE, but because it's so gruesome I don't tell people I watch it much (even though I don't feel guilty doing so). And Weeds I actually feel so guilty about I don't think I've ever told ANYONE I watch it! lol. Until you guys... I have only seen season one, on the online netflix. I've actually only seen season one of Dexter two... started watching when it came on NBC and watched the rest on netflix... but I plan on putting season two of Dexter on my netflix, but I may never watch season two of Weeds... because I don't want my parents to know I watch it and I live with them now! lol (I watched it when I was living at college).
