As some of you know, Blake's Kindergarten year last year was HORRIBLE!! He had a HORRIBLE teacher.....I mean would not call him Blake b/c it's his middle name, NO behavior chart, did not meet the kids at the door...even on the first day, NEVER smiled,...you get the idea.

We just got back from open house and he has the BEST teacher!!  She is very happy, her room is decorated appropriately, she is very positive, she has a behavior system in place...and get this...she actually believes in keeping them busy!!  She has a brother that has ADHD, so she understands that there are some challenges that go along with it.  I also made it very clear that his ADHD is NOT to be used as an excuse for ANY of his behavior. 

Austin has a great teacher as well.  She has very high expectations, but is very laid back as well! 

I am so excited about school starting back on Monday!!

Yay! I'm happy for you and (my) boys! Glad they have great teachers this year!!!

AWWW, you are so sweet.  I am very relieved that they have great teachers.  Of course, I'm curious now to see how much of Blake's issues were HIS and how much were the teachers. 

I forgot to tell you that Austin had his very first phone call from a little girl last night.  I answered the phone and heard this little girl voice ask to speak to my baby...I nearly hung up!!  LOL!!
