That is wonderful news!

President Marley, what does your schedule look like for the Ball – would the last week of August or the first week of September work for you?  Perhaps we could get a date set and your new press secretary could help us with a release?

     Hmmmm, do we want the ball around Labor Day?  We could always incorporate a barbecue into the ball.  I just love pulled pork B-B-Q and cole slaw.

Well dear, I love BBQ too, but I’m not eating pulled pork while wearing my beautiful gown!  

I believe there is more activity on the site during the week than over a holiday weekend so perhaps the Ball could start on Wedenesday or Thursday, August 27th 28th .  The other option would be to wait until after Labor Day and have it on Sept. 3 or 4.

Now, if you want to do a BBQ over Labor Day weekend, I think that needs to be a separate event!  It could still be part of the Inaugural Festivities, just not part of the the ball.  Fiddle-dee-dee, a designer ball gown and pulled pork!  Obviously you are thinking like a man, dear!

     Forgive me my dear, as I was in deed "thinking like a man" when I mentioned the B-B-Q.  Perhaps the B-B-Q would be better as a Labor Day picnic.  Let's plan to have the ball after Labor Day, if that meets with everyone's approval.

Would you prefer Wed, Thurs or Friday, the week after Labor Day (that would be Sept 4, 5 or 6)?  Fiddle-dee-dee, setting a date is so hard!

     In checking my schedule I find that Friday works best.  That way the festivities can go on into the night and we won't need to worry about getting up early.
