A bright beautiful Sunday morning here in SE PA. Of course it's all supposed to go kablooie by noon - thunderstorms, hail, problems of biblical proportions (well, maybe the weatherguy is exaggerating a bit?).

I'll take what I can get.

Here in NE Ohio it is partly sunny and we are expecting the thunderstorms this afternoon as well.  I'm hoping the yard dries out enough so I can mow before the aafternoon deluge begins.

Here in Central Florida it is sunny and hot. No doubt there will be thunderstoms this afternoon like always this time of year. It's been doing that for weeks now. I mowed last Thursday, or tried too, I told Phil I wasn't mud bogging, I was grass bogging. Everything was soaked with standing water in some low places and I did the slip and slide all through the yard. I didn't want to mow with it like that but the grass was getting deep and Ratty was having trouble trying to manuver with his leg so it had to be done regardless of the water. I think I will stay inside today. My back is killing me and even though the grass needs mowing again it will have to wait. TRY TO STAY DRY!

The light early morning fog has lifted and it is a bright sunny Sunday morning along the Space Coast.  I'm leaving soon for the shelter where I got Cutter to give them a donation and arrange for the official adoption.  It will most likely rain this afternoon or evening.  Our "swamp" has a difficult time drying in this weather.  The good news is the crater/pond is gone, pictures at six.

Well I missed the morning call but am now here in the early afternoon. We in southeastern NC started with grey skies but the sun is peeking out now and then. Haven't checked any weather reports so not sure what we may or may not get. We have gotten much needed rain but I think we are still in drought conditions here.

Taffy, Aka and I got up late and then fixed a nice brunch for Mom and us. (yeppers, the little four footers got a bite of egg and cheese omelet and a bite of bacon (insert sounds of gastric joyousness here). After this repast, it was time for important stuff like a heavy duty nap which was completed about 20 mins ago.

A quick trip outside to potty and now we are back inside and Taffy and Aka are working hard at nap two!! I may join them soon.

I hope everyone is having a good Sunday and that health and happpiness is jumping on all of us!!

Here in SW Washington it has been high grey clouds, but it rained last night. Hurrah! We need some wet now since hay season is about over and the grass needs to grow. My well is lasting this year! Big HURRAH! I still have running water in the house, although we are conserving as best we can.

ANYTHING WORTH DOING IS WORTH OVERDOING Mom of eight, only three left at home! Pack leader to ten ratties: Maggie, Mysty, Berry, Simon, Ceecee and five puppies, Star,Sari, Bluebelle, Double stuf, and Snortie. As well as Ginger the Border Collie and a herd of turkeys!

It turned black and rained at noon on the button. Of course I was too preoccupied looking at something to remember to take the umbrella out of the jeep before it poured. On the other hand, with the lightning whizzing around it was probably just as well. Hendryx has turned brave. He curls up around my ankles and shivers there until the thunder and lightning are close, then it gets too much for him and he slinks back to the bathroom to cower there. Oh well. What comes after two days of rain? Monday.
