Whoo hoo hubby decided to go with the phone companies off on a bundled package. Phone, internet, and Dish Network. I'M OUT OF THE STONE AGE!. I have to call tomorrow from work to set up the day for the dish. I can't believe it. I'll be getting Animal Planet and National Geographic. So I'll be able to watch Dog Whisperer. Also we are getting a Free DVR. AWESOME!!!!! |

Ours does that too. I still prefer it over cable. Our cable company here is horrible. |

IMHO digital cable ROCKS............doesnt go out durring cloudy days , high winds, rain, solar storms ETC ETC
ive ALWAYS had a satelite, back in the day it was 20 foot dishes and you had to program 4 boxes to get a channel HAHA. anywho congrats and WELCOME to the 90's ........ |

| I have had dish network for about a year now. I like it much better then cable and is a little cheaper too. And you get way more channels. I never had any problems with storms or such until this winter. Now it goes out a little easier but still not that bad. I'm going to stick with Dish for a long time! |

| I was worried when we moved out here that we would only be able to get "country cable"..you know 7, 9, & 12...oh and fox8 if the moon and stars were in perfect alignment!! Thankfully they had cable here...it was the houses down the path that just recently were able to get cable. |

I used to have Dish satellite, and in the winter I had to take a broom outside to sweep the snow out of the dish, or no reception! Now I have digital cable, and the only problem I've had was last week when the neighbor ran his lawn mower over the tiny inch of cable that stuck out of the terminal box and shredded it. grrrrrrrr-----I dont want to think about that! |

| Something with thier computer system. They found a virus in the system and shut the computers down. Its with the phone company..nothing to do with the satellite company. |
