While I was at work.  Steve text me "You need a new laptop power cord".  I instantly knew it was Remington.  I text him back "I'm going to kill remington".  He ask "How'd you know?".  He's 6 months old.  UGH!!!  I called my brother who works with computers.  He has the same model laptop because we bought them at the same time.  He'll see if any of his old ones will work.  Otherwise it will be around $70 for a replacement.

Tucker did the same thing to mine a couple of months ago. I found a knock of brand on Ebay for $20 and it works great!

I learned to use knock off brands too. Be of good cheer, they more or less grow out of it after a while. Hendryx just concentrates on industrial waste and dragging half-chewed ballpoint pens across the oriental carpets.

His name is Hendryx! He's a rat terrier! OK!

I didn't punish him. He didn't know what he did when I got home. It's not chewed completly in half but sizzles when you plug it in. Thanks for the ebay tip.

Your lucky it wasn't a power cord to a lamp, tv or other 110 fixture.....

Boy, it seems like puppies love the tingling sensation they get, by teething on electrical cords. Very dangerous though. Glad he is ok.

My folks use to rub a bar of soap on their power cords when they raised a litter trained house bunny. Rabbits chew cords. I wonder if you could do the same for your pup if you can't keep him out of trouble.

Murphy has done this as well... fortunately, the cord was NOT plugged in at the time.  Bitter-Apple on the cords might discourage the behavior, but where there is a Rattie, there is a way.

Well I'm going to clean off the computer desk in the spare room and set up the laptop there. I haven't told my husband yet but I'm going to buy him a new desktop for christmas. So I'm planning on getting it from Best Buy during thier Thanksgiving sale. Then I might try to upgrade his desktop so I can use it for playin computer games and such. We'll see. Well I'm off to start cleaning off the desk. I'm filling in for a guy tonight so I'm working 5p-1a tonight. It will be 8 hours OT on my paycheck. I have to replace the other tires on my car. I replaced one and have to replace the other three.

The tires.......that is hilarious..........

Rainy got into my tv stand and dug and chewed her way through my briefcase, soft sided, for school..........she chewed a hole into the wall and ate the cord to my sons learing game.........and yes we even caught her chewing the windshield wipers.........

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Two tires got nails in them. The one that I replaced the plugs wore out and another guy put a patch on it but since I've had them since I've had the car (2006) I replaced just once since the other two were still holding air. Now they are getting bad so I have to replace them.
