This is just too stinkin cute not to share with all…

Kasey just loves to listen to and sing along with the song B-I-N-G-O. Well he was doing as he normally does this evening and Molly decided she was going to get into the mood and jump right in when her part came into play. LOL You all would have had to been here to really appreciate the whole thing but I will try to explain what has been going on….

I am sure you all know the song, but here are the lyrics and Kasey sings them all but I will point out when Molly jumps in with her part. LMFAO!!! This was so funny, I am only sorry that no one else was around to see it.

The song starts off with a few barks from a cute doggie and that gets Molly’s attention. Then it jumps into the song of:

There was a farmer that had a dog and BINGO was his name-o,
B-I-N-G-O, B-I-N-G-O, B-I-N-G-O
And Bingo was his name-O
Followed by a cute little tune and then…. [An real dog would bark as follows:]
“Bark, Bark, Bark” ( here is where Molly would bark three times too ) LOL

And as you can guess, just repeat this several more times throughout the song and you got it, Kasey is singing right along with it and Molly chimes in with her “Bark, Bark, Bark” on cue every time!! LMAO!!! So Funny/and so stinking cute!!!

I think Molly knows the song as well as Kasey does!!! LOL

Well Kasey is dong as well as to be expected after all that has happened to him over the past few months. He still has a great attitude towards all the doctor visits and all so that is good for me.

All of the testing that we have done for his heart, lever and all has come back negative and all looks good so that is great!!! He continues to go through the stages of the  “suspected disease” of Kawasaki Disease at this time. His hands have finally stopped peeling but his feet are peeling really bad at this time. I am sure that the peeling will be over within a few weeks. But it is a very good sign that all of his organ tests came back good. We have to do them again within 6 weeks but we are trying to be hopeful that they all come back good too.

Kasey is still in a cast, we feel that all he has been through with the disease has had a very bad negative effect on his arm healing. He actually went a few weeks with no healing within his arm so it is taking longer for the healing of his arm to take place. He is now in his cast for 8 weeks and we go back in two weeks for his next visit which will put him at 12 weeks in his cast. They did another burning of the flesh on his elbow but it will take until next visit to see if they have to do it again.

He is fighting a very bad heat rash on that arm at this time. I have been keeping him indoors 24/7 to avoid the heat of the outdoors which is driving him crazy. He really loves to play outside. He now has what we call “cabin fever”, as he wants to be OUT of his surroundings big time now. I do what I can but to control the heat rash it makes it hard to let him out to play.

As of this morning, he is now starting with a summer cold. Stuffy nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Great!!! Just what I needed. LOL

Oh well, I guess one day we will walk away from all this and find something that is funny.

Well, I don't have a video camera but I will have to figure out how I can video this because it is so worth seeing!!! LOL

Oh I did want to add a point of view from the doctors. Their take on his arm is that he will never be 100%. His arm is growing crocked and may improve over time but will never be as it was before. Only time will tell how bad it will be. We are not happy with this but there is  not much we can do about it at this time. Two breaks within such a short amount of time is just not putting much hope on his side. We can only hope that the physical therapy will do some good at this time knowing that we can only get as close to 100% as we can but never reaching 100%. So sad because for a 3 year old, he already loved sports and this will keep him from doing what he loved most.

That is SO sweet... and DO hope you can get a video of the "singing duo" to share with us!   I'm so sad for all that Kasey has had to go through, and is STILL going through, especialy at such a young age where he doesn't fully understand what is happening!

I'm just so happy that Kasey is able to "grow up" with Molly... and have the joy of a dog in his life! I was raised in a family without a dogs my entire childhood. My parents didn't want dogs.. and said that without a fenced yard it would not be fair to have a dog)... but never really explained to me WHY they couldn't just put up a fence! I didn't get my first dog until I was 18 years old (and had moved out on my own) but my love for dogs continued to grow my entire life. I know getting into dog grooming at 54 is a little bit late... but after doing dog grooming... no can't even imagine doing anything else!

The BINGO/Molly story is very funny. I'm so sorry to hear that Kasey has been that affected by something they can't seem to get a handle on.

His name is Hendryx! He's a rat terrier! OK!

Nice to hear from you Donna and the story is precious. See if your digital photo camera has a video option. Many today take a short video clip and you might be able to capture it that way if they do this song and dance routine again (grin).

Don't despair, Kasey may still be able to play sports though perhaps not pro-football or anything (but how many really do make that dream). I'm glad his attitude stays positive and the cast will keep that arm safe even if it is annoying and taking longer than planned.

Hugs - we miss you posting so visit when you can!

Donna, that would be so cute to see, maybe your camera does do short videos...mine does and I didn't know it till Dillon showed me how to do it.
I hope Kasey feels better soon, when Dillon was young, he had Fifths disease and that caused his hands and then his feet to peel too.
