| Oh my goodness! Doesnt sound like poor Jenna is having a very good summer. I hope everything is ok with her. That is a bit of a worry with her forehead swollen and her wanting to sleep like that. How old is she? Keep us posted on her! |

Jenna is four. When my son was even younger than her he fell and hit his head really hard and the doctor said to let him sleep. That it was an old wives tale to keep someone awake after a head injury. IDK. I keep checking on her and she's still breathing so I guess that's okay. Gosh I just feel so bad for the poor little button. |

Oh goodness...how we survive those childhood years is still a miracle to me! I hope your little darling begins to feel better soon, and I am hoping everything goes well with the doctors. Remember to stay calm and keep giving her all the love you have been! |

I was actually AMAZED that I stayed calm when she fell. It was hard to keep my tears in check but I did. I was shaking and sweating but I don't think she noticed. I just held her and spoke quietly in her ear. I really think it helped her. Ooo she woke up. Gotta go!

Poor kiddo!! I hope everything ends up OK with her head and with the rheumatologist. Its a scary feeling to know that something might be wrong, but nobody really has a clue as to what's going on. It took 12 torturous months to get Susanna's diagnosis of an immune deficiency. Those 12 months were pure hell. I knew something wasn't right, but none of it added up. I stayed an emotional wreck until the day someone finally said what she had. Big hugs to you guys!! |

| I hope that she feels better soon too. Bad summer for a 4YO. Does the doctor think that these symptoms may all add up together to one allergy? |

Sorry I haven't seen this post till now. How is Jenna now? I am wondering if whatever she was swimming in made her sick also gave her a rash, maybe they are not bug bites and she has something in her system making her swell and maybe making her dizzy. Having said that my 4yo has head injuries all of the time. I can't tell you how many times I call the doc and ask what are the symptoms of concussion. She hasn't done it in a while though. I usually check her pupils with a flashlight first to see if they respond and then make her walk to see if she is staggering or walking crooked. Also, if they throw up that is a sign of concussion. Since this happened days ago, I'm hoping that she is doing OK. Please let us know!

Sorry to hear Jenna is having a rough time of it..... Sure hope things improve soon..... Hang in there Mom! Children are so resilient....I'm sure she's gonna be ok..... Sometimes kids get kind of clutsy as they go through growth spurts....maybe that explains her falling..... Hope everything is alright... Lynn |

poor baby! what a bad summer for a little girl! I'm glad she's feeling better now. I hope they can figure out what's causing the swelling in the knees, and that it's nothing serious. |
