The ONE day that we are getting Thunderstorms with some ACTUAL rainfall....HAS to be the Fourth!!! We got to see some of mother nature's fireworks, but that's it. Try to explain THAT to a six year old!!!!

Oh Brandy that is too bad.......it was like that for us last year...........we just light some off at home this year............I hope your sone does better.........maybe take him to the movies tomorrow......I am.................

Here in the Pacific North West it rains fequently on the 4th. That has never stopped the fireworks, so far they work just fine as long as it is not a total downpour. This includes the big fireworks shows in cities.

ANYTHING WORTH DOING IS WORTH OVERDOING Mom of eight, only three left at home! Pack leader to ten ratties: Maggie, Mysty, Berry, Simon, Ceecee and five puppies, Star,Sari, Bluebelle, Double stuf,and Snortie. As well as Ginger the Border Collie and a herd of turkeys!

So I guess... start counting off until New Years? I've found that a snow cone can sometimes make many of life's bumps a little smoother.

AHHH poor little guy. believe me it sucks when it rains on the fourth cause for the last 2 years it rained and stormed. this year was nice it wasnt that hot hardly no misquitos ( who would want to be around us with my son and brother lighting smoke bombs and something else that really smoked and it reaked like wrotten eggs) EEEEEWWWW

Well, as it worked out, his brother spent the night off, so he had an ENTIRE Saturday in the pool with Mom all to himself.....funny, I haven't heard any mention of the fireworks since then!
