| I worried that Hendryx was being looked for when we adopted him. We were assured that he had been there for twice the required time to make sure that nobody was searching. They thought he might have been a bit mouthy with a kid or something so the mother just made sure the dog got "lost." Sigh. Still, I worried for quite a while that somebody might show up claiming him. Now it has been 18 months, so anyone trying for a claim will get no sympathy from us. |

His name is Hendryx! He's a rat terrier! OK! |

She didn't look for her dog because she "thought" it had been stolen? I didn't know WHAT happened to our black lab when she disappeared several years ago, but theft was at the top of the list. We were at the shelters SEVERAL times a day - just in case! How could you not look for your dog regardless of what you think happened to it? I was bringing Sue home, dead or alive, and THAT WAS THAT! I worry that Pixie's owners will see me out with her and try to claim her. Sorry folks. She's got a couple of big scars on her neck, she was filthy and hungry when we found her, we put up fliers, went door to door, and put ads in the paper...if you couldn't find her after we posted the friggin' dog's picture all over city, you're out of luck. However, since we have the suspicion that she was dumped because she was a problem dog, I'm too TOO awful worried |
