You remember how I had bragged that Amos' farts didn't stink any more?  As long as he didn't get much table food?

Well when I got up to let him out this morning, he passed some RIGHTOUS gas.    Ooooh!  It was AWFUL!  I let him out, but I kept smelling the odor.  Hubby said that during the night, Amos had farted and it stunk so bad that it woke him up out of a sound sleep and he got up and let him out because he felt sure he "needed to go".

We go out and take our walk and I notice that the trash can had been raided.  I had put some OLD meat scraps in there, double bagged and then tied up in a trash bag.  It had been "fermenting" in the heat for more than 24 hours.  The bag was licked clean.   I KNOW that Amos got that bag out of the trash at some point late yesterday and it made him sick.  We got back from our walk and I noticed the "odor" was bad in my living room.  Checked Amos crate and he had been sick in the crate!.  We had to take the crate outside and pressure wash it.  I threw his Foot Ball bed in the washer, but the blanket was old and I just threw it in the trash.

What makes dogs wanna eat something that is SPOILED!!!!

I guess it's all out of his system because he doesn't even act sick at all now and he has stopped "gassing" us.

I don't know what I'm gonna do with that crazy DOG!

Ruff... er, Rough, I mean.

Sounds like he has a strong constitution if he could go through all that and still be OK.

He's been kinda laying around today most of the day, and he's had diarrhea twice, but he made it outside. He's been playing with Smooshy just a bit a go and he acted his same self when we went for our walk this evening. He's tough and you can't keep a tough dog down. Even if he DOES get garbage gut from diggin' in the trash.
