I just caught them digging right over Buddy's grave!!  I don't know how far down he is, but I really do not want/need the ratties digging up my heart dog.

I filled in the hole (thankfully the soil is rock hard so they were only able to dig a few inches), and covered it with a rock that is about 12" long and 6" wide.

Any ideas of how to keep them from digging there again?!

Buddy - gone but never forgotten.

No ideas but I would like to know.  We have a "pet cemetary" of hamsters, gerbils, mice and ferrets that Sydney will try digging up every once and a while as well.

You might try sraying the area with dog repellent don't know if ammonia would work or not, I put very very heavy rocks on my Nikki's spot to protect her.

when i was younger my dad had a dog that dug up a few of our animals that passed on, so he started putting mothballs in the dirt & arund it, that seemed to work.
