I have very long, thick, wavy hair. When i'm going out, i straighten it and put rollers in. Anyway, I've had pretty much the same hair cut for ten years: long with tons of layers. I have tried long side sweeping bangs, but I've never really cut them too short or too thick, so I've never gotten the full effect. I'm thinking I want to go for some form of bangs again. I want to kind of do something drastic, because i'm not willing to cut the length of my hair, and i'm so bored! I'm having a really hard time finding pictures online. Any websites or ideas? |

| I love the long side bang...my hair dresser cuts the shortest piece at the middle of my ear so it is quick to pin up with a bobby pin or barrette when I need a ponytail day! I love the side bang because it is so versatile and I can straighten it along with the rest of my hair. Sorry i don"t have any pictures...I am in the midst of a computer crisis and the new one hasn't arrived yet so I am using a friends. |

donna, the ad is circuit city now, lol. must have just changed. i think i am going to do the side sweeping bangs again, just do them thicker and shorter this time. i have to do something, my hair really needs a change. i want to highlight it too, but i've been told it would be really expensive to highlight my hair because its so thick and i'm really cheap! |

Jamie....you have the most gorgeous hair that most girls would be so envious of; I certainly am. I understand the whole wanting a change thing tho. I think that you would look great with bangs...and hey if you don't like them they will be long in no-time. |

thank you, nat! thats the thing, my hair is MY THING, so i tend to be afraid to change it. I'm going in tomorow and i'm going to ask the stylist what she thinks too. |

| oh, and mary, i actually did chop all my hair off once. When i was 16 I went into my salon and said "CUT IT OFF" and I had a chin length bob type thing. I just can't pull off short hair, at least in my opinion, and it took just as much time to style. I wish I could pull off short hair styles, they are really cute. |

| I would get a hair magazine and look at some of long hair cuts. I am trying to grow mine out but I have a feeling I would get bored with it too. Theres just so much u can do with long hair. |
