I don't think Mitch is the kind of guy who would drop out without a word. He always had some sort of quip or comment on anything - usually positive. I just hope that if he reads these posts, he will further understand that everyone here is puzzled and worried. If you see this, Mitch, at lest PM someone so we all know you and Murphy are OK....

Surely not? But I just looked and that ad is missing (I remember it). Anyone so easily offended must surely need a lesson in grace. What a shame if we've lost such a boon to the forum of a personal opinion not necesarily held by all If Mitch happens to see this thread I hope he will reconsider and rejoin. His was a needed voice here.
The ad is still there. Here it is. Again I'm just speculating here folks. Maybe someone thought it was sacrilegious having a dog ordained. Just guessing.
Yup... Murphy is now a reverend... ordained on a website just a few minutes ago, so it's official.

I'm really sad that Mitch and Murphy have left. I enjoyed Mitch's sense of humor and the great pictures of Murphy.
I realize that I'm speculating here, but could someone have been offended that Murphy was ordained online and was using the title "Reverend"? Then PM'd Mitch and gave him a hard time about it?
This is such a great site that if someone leaves I feel bad about it.
I surely hope that is not the case. Mitch, if it is and you are lurking and see this, please come back. If this happened on the campaign contest thread I'm gonna be more than upset. That thread is supposed to be fun and satire. Look at the KS threads -- I'm from the south and I am doing nothing but poking fun at the stereotypical southern belle image. If people can not take a joke, they should not be on that thread because the whole campaign thread is supposed to be one big joke poking fun and satire at political campaigns.
Mitch, I loved all your ads and I hope you come back.
And, if someone did send him a complaint pm -- it should have been sent to me, the contest moderator. |

| There is another possibility (again speculation). He may have been browsing from work and the work place decided to do a crack down on web surfing. I am not sure why he'd delete his entire ID, however, but I can't think what else might have happened. |

I didn't even notice that there was anything about that ad that some uptight person might find offensive.
But then there are almost 2000 members one here, and most don't post at all really. It's possible that out of about 2000 members some jerk is roaming around and bothering some of the members on here without the rest of us knowing. Not a nice thought, but it is possible.
But I wouldn't think he would just leave without telling us. I'd think he would have contacted a moderator about the problem instead of just leaving, if he was being bothered.
I really hope he's ok. Maybe we can make a "come back Mitch and Murphy" banner and he'll see it and contact someone? I really miss his good sense of humor. |

I just saw Mitch's Ad, and I don't find one thing offensive about it all. In fact I like it.  And I'm not sure who makes banners for the site. I guess you could always pm one of the mods and ask them. But the banner idea does sound good. Who knows it might work

I noticed M&M/s absence
actually I felt kinda bad cause I did a campaign smear on murphy saying that he was irresponsibe and impregnated a few dogs before her was nueterd...But of course that was SATIRE..I hope he or anyone else did not take offense, but he had a pretty strong sense of humor and could not really think he would...
I have signed off other sights before, becasuse I felt that I was "addicted" to net surfing and maybe that is a possibliity. I hope I do not do that on this one, becasue it is not just wasting my time, but really learning and having a good time.. |

Hey Mikki....anyone can make a banner for the site; we just need to find some pics of Murphy. I'm lazy and have no idea how to make a banner...but whoever can do it just needs to send it to Morgan and she can put it up.
