Next Door boy just went home.... 
Okay, my friend's two boys are precious!! They are SO good!
Things are going well except for a few things...
Baby Tyler (14 months) got very upset when I put him down for a nap. His Grandma and Daddy did a drive by drop off! Poor Rob... he was white as a sheet and practically threw his kids at me, slung the bags and play pen... almost forgot the car seats... OMG! I tried so hard not to laugh! 
I told him I was confused why he was so freaked out...he is only heading out to have baby number 5! 
Well, baby Tyler is so sweet and snugly. He just looked at me with his big brown eyes and sucked on his binky. Oh, I forgot how sweet babies are! (Uh, NO I don't want another!)
Well, I had Tyler in one hand and I was trying to put his playpen together with the other.  Every time I put him down, he took off! I was scared he would fall down the stairs! I tried closing my bedroom door to keep the little scooter pie in but he managed to break free! So, just imagine the scene....
I got him all settled and left the room. He was quiet and I thought I was the best babysitter ever!!  BUT he started screaming and Mario freaked out! I sat outside my door and waited for him to calm down but he wouldn't so I went back in. Tyler threw his binky out of the play pen and was having a fit.
Mario came in and was very upset. He started jumping like a kangaroo and Tyler didn't like that at all! OMG! Tyler freaked out! I put Mario out of my room and settled Tyler down again. As I was leaving the room, I hear another freak out coming from Nick's room!
CJ was on Nick's bed screaming because he was scared of Mario! I felt so bad because Mario is a VERY sweet dog. You guys at the meet up know that's true. Anyway, I got the boys downstairs and put Mario in my yard. If the boys were in, Mario was out...if the boys went out , Mario came in...
Mario keeps looking at me like "WTH??"  
Once I got Tyler to sleep and Mario away from CJ, things settled down a bit. I got snacks ready and took a deep breath....THEN NDB came home! 
OMG! All I heard was arguing the WHOLE time he was here! I brought the train tracks and trains downstairs so the boys wouldn't wake up the baby and so I could keep my eye on them. GOOD GREIF!
I was so happy when 4:00 hit... NDB's big sister came to get him but she looked really upset. I didn't ask her what was wrong, she looked on the verge of tears. So, once they left, I asked my oldest son, Jake. These awful kids on the bus were calling her names and she had cried in front of them. (That breaks my heart! Kids are so mean sometimes)
Anyway, Jake told me all the details then said he grabbed the one boy who started it all and body slammed him when they got off the bus! Oh man! I'm glad he defended his friend but he could get suspended for that.
My house is a total mess and the baby just got up. He's sitting in my lap as I type this and is so wonderful! Nick and CJ are pretending to be trains so it's a little lively...at least they are being good. Poor Mario is staring at me through my back door. Jake is off skating and Kailey is across the street playing. It's been crazy but pretty good so far.
So, I'm good... but I will need some adult treats later!  |
