My dad had a knee replacement a month ago, and it's healing great...just needed to say that first.  He has been having home visits for both nurses and physical therapists, and my dogs are being awesome about these strangers coming into the house every other day.  Lucy has to greet everyone with kisses on their legs,  but the ones who have been coming are dog people, so they don't really care.  I had been keeping Rosie (dobie) locked up because she has nipped a nurses butt before (after dad had his hip replacement last fall), but I let her stay out today, just watched her closely, and she didn't so much as bark at either of them.  All three just lounged around the living room, watching as the physical therapist did what she needed to do.  They barely noticed the nurse and ran outside to play when she got here.

I am just SO proud of them for acting like the great dogs I know that they are...especially Rosie.
