I confess I actually thought of doing that for an instant the other day...but I LOVE my Colorado!!!! I'm gonna stick it out...although I may have to sell my soul to the devil or something to afford gas to get to work if it goes too much higher

$3.81 here... they were actually trying to form a boycott here against buying gas today... but it didn't work because people realized they would just end up filling up tomorrow, and that the oil companies would never let you know if it really hurt them...

$3.39 here in Lincoln. Now that we moved to the edge of the city, I drive 20 miles roundtrip to work each day. It's almost not worth it.  |

| I know what you mean! I filled up for 3.29 yesterday and that's counting that a week ago it was 2.89!!! Last summer we sold our beautiful truck (00 ford offroad all the bells n whistles) because it was so expensive to drive. Now we have an s-10 that gets 34 mpg and I drive a little $700 toyota tercel that gets 42mpg! It's not the prettiest car on the road but at least I can smile a bit at the pumps! |

And I bought my 'dream truck' last Dec... a Ford Explorer Sport Trac...
Have not the heart to get rid of it ....
But I only have to drive 10 minutes to get to work... and don't really go anywhere else..
grrrrr gas prices....

I was just thinking the same thing Shannon. It's $2.89 here too....or at least it was when I took Austin to school this morning...who knows what it is right now. |

| Cheapest gas in Martinsville, Indiana today is $3.15....it just goes up from there for premiums etc. They were trying to enforce the gasoline boycott today here, too, but I still saw plenty of people at the pumps. I'm definitely going to go back to bicycling or walking to work, now that nice weather is here. |

| 2.78 a gallon in SC atm .....3 days ago it was 2.61, it fluctuates from 2.61 - 2.90 a gallon here for the cheap stuff we normally fill up once every 2 weeks at $40-$45 a tank |
