| I can't wait to get Vino to the vet for chipping. Mocha has a microchip because I got her from Ratbone. My vet scanned it and noted the number on her chart. Vino is getting one ASAP!! |

You know, looking at the big picture, it occurs to me that you've been very, very lucky actually. The woman who took Fry to the vet (and offered to pay half), and the alert neighbor that noticed that the 8itch had Nibbler could very well have not gotten involved and you might have never found them. It's horrible that this happened at all, but it could have been much, much worse. At least that's something to be thankful for. I'd still like to see her have to lose everything though, paying legal fees, etc. |

I'm sayin this is one lucky lady that we all don't live close to her cuz I have scrapped a few times in my life and I can assure you that she would think twice the next time she messed with somebodys furbaby! Both Julia and Caesar have a tattoo on their inner thigh. They had them when we bought them, so I have no idea how much it costs. I just can't believe this lady! Bonita I just hope all works out~ my heart is in my stomach right now...just get your baby home safe and sound! We're here for you hon!!! I want to see their tattys! |

OMG I just found the threads about what happened to Nibbler and Fry! Yes, Bonita, thank god for "helpful" neighbors! Was this the same neighbor that told you he first saw Nibbler there? I'm so glad it looks like this nightmare will finally have a happy ending after all. So sorry you're having to live it, though. And poor little Nibbler. What must her think?
Definitely press charges on this woman. She was clearly trying to steal a dog, whether she came in your house and stole it or it wandered up to her door. She was clearly lying to the police, because Nibbler is not her dog. So that would indicate to me she has something to hide besides stealing a dog. I think this implicates her as a possible suspect to pursue in the break in. |

| I cannot believe that someone could do this. I can't even begin to understand how one could rationalize stealing someone's dog. Especially, a dog that is clearly someones who cares enough to tag their babies. I am so glad that the neighbor has come forward and dug around to help you out. This sickens me! |

OMG! I ran in the house tonight when I got home to see an update! I was fuming, and then jumping up and down in excitement that Nibbler is coming home! Ok, I can take my shoes off now 
I am just so sickened at people sometimes... I guess I'm pretty gullible (sp?) most of the time because I think everyone is a good person before they even say a word, I just hate to wake up and realize that some people are just so twisted. Press charges. Make this lady pay big time for what she has done. At least that man helped you out, he is a hero! I would give him a big ol' kiss if he were here! |

Wow, this has been an emotional rollercoaster. Talk about exhaustion. I so hope Nibbler can be in his own bed tonite.

That could of been the deal all along, she was stealing dogs to resell, and Fry being a little street smart sort of from being in a shelter got away from her.
Hopefully, this woman gets what she deserves and Nibbler gets to come home to his own bed and visit with his brother at the vets. |

WOW how scary I hope her Nibbler comes home. Luckily my ratties are too loud they scare off any intruders since they sound like a pack of wolves  . Keeping some good thoughts going your way. All of my guys are micro'd as when I had my fosters and had to chip them I figured might as well do all of my dogs. It was an easy process to do but probably because I'm used to having to do injections from school and work.
Course the size of that microchip needle to insert OUCH

| I bet that neighbor knows a lot more than we think, probably sees lots of dogs come and go. Could have felt sorry for Bonita and decided to dig out the colar. No wonder why the lady would not answer her door, that is probably when she was taking her "pictures"... Oh this just ticks me off!!! |
