If you would like to participate in the "Secret Santa" for our dogs please email me with…
1. Your name
2. Your mailing address
3. Name(s) of your dog(s) participating
Your Rat Terrier AND his/her siblings may be included if you would like. Just keep in mind that how ever many of your dogs participate is also how many gifts you will be sending out. (If you have 3 dogs and they all participate, each dog will receive a gift, and you will also be sending out 3 gifts.)

Please put “Secret Santa” in the subject line of your email.

1. I will be accepting emails starting now through November 18th.
2. You will receive an email back by November 22nd that will include the name of the member, dog, and mailing address. You will receive 1 name for every dog that you have participating.
3. You will have just over 3 weeks to purchase a gift for the dogs you have been assigned and mail them to the address provided. I would like for everyone to receive their packages between December 17-19.
4. Spending limit is $15 plus whatever you will need to pay in shipping. This is just a guideline...please feel free to spend whatever you can afford. I know not all can or want to spend this much. 
5. Once your dogs receive their packages, I would like for everyone to post pictures and tell who their “Secret Santa” was on a thread that I will start on December 17th. I would like all pictures and “Secret Santa’s” to be revealed and posted by December 23rd. Just in time for Christmas!
6. If for some reason you sign up and realize you will no longer be able to send out a gift please let my know before November 18th. Also, if you are a member that does not post regularly, please make sure that you check in every now and then with us and are able to meet the dates above. We don't want anyone to be left out or not receive a gift. Thanks!

This was all Donna's idea. I think she just wanted me to do the dirty work, haha.  I started to wonder why I volunteered when it started to get confusing, but I think I have it all worked out now, haha. Just be patient with me.  |

Sorry guys, I don't mean to sound picky, but if everyone could please email your information to the email address I provided (rt-morgan@hotmail.com).
Most everyone has done this, but I am also receiving PM's and messages sent to my other email account, ect. I have it set up so that all of your emails will be sent to a specific folder in my email account...this is the only way that I can be sure that no one is left out. It's hard to collect all the information from 3 different locations.
Sorry again to sound picky...I just want to make sure that I have everyone together when I go to compile a list and start drawing names to give out. |

It's up to everyone else. The only reason I had not started a list was because I did not want those that were not participating to feel bad.
I don't mind starting a list if everyone is okay with that though. |

| Sounds fine for me a-lot of poeple have many reason to join or not join no one should feel bad i fthey don't join. some may have a budget they want to stick to some may have plans to be gone that time frame. I think its all a good idea. |

Being "kind of" new here, it would be helpful if we had the list and it could have the members name and pet(s) names. I still rely on you guys to make that info be known for me. LOL I have not placed all the names together yet.
Anyway.... this is an optional thing so I don't see why anyone would be offended??? Everyone is invited and still has pleanty time to join. And actually it might even attract more to join in just incase they missed some of the original threads and after seeing the list it might encourage them. |

No one really gave their opinions on that. 
I was thinking around $5-$10 because you also have to think about how much shipping will cost. Of course I'm sure we will have those members that go above and beyond. Basically just whatever you want I guess...it's just for fun. Unless anyone else has some ideas? |

First let me say that you are doing a GREAT job organizing this Morgan. Donna, this is such a great idea. I'm excited to find out who I get to shop for this year! I would say we SHOULD set a spending limit - say $10 -$15 per pup? The only reason I say this is because that's how MOST Secret Santa gift exchanges are run - there's a spending limit and YES some people will go above and beyond but this way those that don't have that kind of money to spend won't feel bad either, do you get what I'm saying? It doesn't matter to me either way, but I do think a spending limit is good. Plus - I LOVE shopping for bargains and seeing how much I can get for my money! |

I agree Errica...your'e the only one who has given an idea for an amount, haha. So let's just say the spending limit is $15. Sound good?
