After the hurricanes it's gone down some, but it's still one of the bigger tourist areas in the US. The hurricanes are the reason we moved to NC, we lost alot 2 times, Charlie and Wilma. But I still love FL though, just not for living.

Besides the 30amp hookups, we are also on 4.5 acres, so plenty of room!

| Thanks for the site, when i have a little more time i'm going to sit down and do some research for a meetup. Just a little trivia fun fact, did you know that Lake City High was built on a filled in Landfill and every year, it sinks 1/4" inch?? weird eh? |

Well we are open to it, so if that works for people, we can make it a go!
There is a place to eat in town called The Porterhouse that has really good "AYCE" fried shrimp on fridays for inder $10. A nice Chinese Buffet in the mall with Crab Legs for under $12. Someone at our Church was telling us there is a place in Live Oak with a really nice Seafood Buffet for under $20. Just some food for thought!
Jen works in Real Estate so she is going to know better all the recreational places.

We have an area behind the house that is kind of secluded by trees where tents can be set up.
Can even run some electric back there. Maybe set up a camp breakfast sort of thing for those who can actually get up the next morning!
Wild Adventures Amusement Park is less than an hour north in my Hometown of Valdosta GA!

The guys, and boy scouts made fun of me, because I drove to the beach bathrooms to take a shower and blowdry my hair, and put on makeup when we camped at Anastasia..Disney Camp Wilderness was ok, cause the bathrooms and showers were right there in the camping area.

Sounds good to me...I did not care for sleeping on those air mattresses..they always go flat during the night, and you end up sleeping on the hard ground, and waking up with pains in areas you did not even know could hurt so much!
