| its about the same distance for us to TN as it is to N FL. Maybe if we do one for N FL, Richie and I can actually plan on going and saving up etc. We should do like Jacksonville Beach, Ratties at the Beach hehe. That'd be awesome. |

Well we have like four 30amp trailer hookups outside, enough sofas & recliners to sleep 7 people plus two blow up matresses. There are also tons of hotels 3-4 miles away right off of I-75!

We could do a Ratties Day At The Beach with the beach being about 1.5 hours from us. We have a lot of Natural Springs also, great for photo ops! There is a lot we could do and document!

We are in Lake City.
About 3-4 miles from I-75 & Hwy 90.
We could do the Suwanee River Music Park Too!

awesome, Richie's dad drives for the suwanee river jam and also does the stephen foster folk festival. He drives the for suwanee valley transit. That would so cool if we could plan something around there. or jacksonville beach, or any where around there. FL is more home to me than anything as i grew up down in naples/ft myers but traveled up in your area quite often. I know that they allow pets at the stephen foster but not so sure about the music river jam. Let's start planning something!  |

| N FL isn't too bad of a drive for us and it would give us a reason to visit his dad hehe. Also, btw, being a bus driver we can get all teh ratties on the bus and he'll get us in to the jam or the folk festival at a discount. A bus full of ratties should be fun, plus i'm sure there's many more members here who would enjoy taking a FL vacation any way. Obviously this should be something we start making plans now as hotels fill up quickly etc. Also, Richie has family that works at Disney, we get in free to all the parks, maybe that's something sometime in the late future we can have just an people meet up or something for a small FL group. But i think the FL meet is a great idea, have i said that enough? |

| After the hurricanes it's gone down some, but it's still one of the bigger tourist areas in the US. The hurricanes are the reason we moved to NC, we lost alot 2 times, Charlie and Wilma. But I still love FL though, just not for living. |
