Youngins as in 20ish range? Did you guys have My buddy dolls? I just scanned in old pics tonight and I found photos of my brother and I getting My buddy dolls lol They were soft dolls that were about 22 inches tall. They go for 4 dollars on ebay now lol i was just curious if anyone remembered them. They were huge when I remember playing with them lol I guess they came out in 1986.

The My Buddy doll is widely considered the inspiration for Chucky (Child's Play) from the Child's Play movies; this is supported by the fact that both dolls are very similar in look and design. [citation needed] However, writer/director Tom Holland claimed that he based Chucky on the famous Cabbage Patch Kids after tiring of seeing their commercials on TV.

well, both my buddy and cabbage patch kids always freaked me out. Even before Chucky! But for some reason I loved Cricket... Do you remember Cricket? I think I loved that doll for about a week then forgot about it For some reason I was never into dolls much.. I think that's because we always played with my cousins Star Wars action figures... and I had She-Ra (or however you spell that)... hmm, that's weird, I can't remember many other toys I had... I had a bunch of stuffed animals though

I don't remember Cricket lol I had lots of dolls and stuffed animals and barbies, the barbies were all naked and went in the bathtub. My mom loved going to garage sales so I had lots of used toys.

Did you have an easy bake oven? I loved my easy bake oven and I was obsessed with my Fisher price Kitchen set, my "cook cook". I really wish I liked cooking that much now..

They took forever cuz you baked a cake with a light bulb i think lol Then you had to get a parent come and watch you so didn't get burned. And at the end you had this tiny cake that was too small to share but so many ppl took part in making it lol

OMG!!!    This whole thread is like a time warp!!  I remember every one of those dolls!  Cricket's freaky looking now, but I thought she was cute when I was a kid.  I only had a Cabbage Patch Kid.  And She-ra stuff.  I used to dress up like She-ra and ride on our horse attached to the metal frame by springs and play that way for hours....

My friend had an EZ bake oven.  The cakes always tasty funny, but we thought they were the best!

I spent most of my time playing with my My Little Ponies.  Embarrassing fact: I still have some of them!  I keep them in a box for when my sister's kids come visit.

OMG Jules!    My Buddy is FREAKY.  I do not think he is right.  He always scared me.  And to think we went from that to dolls now that you feed and they poop.  Wow, evolution!

I had a easy bake oven, and my son had a cabbage patch doll (he wouldn't admit it). I got it back when he was about 5 years old when they were fighting over them at the stores. I just recently gave it to my grandaughter to take home. It was a boy named Abraham.

Not only did I have a "My Buddy" doll, I also had "Kid Sister" doll.  "My buddy, Kid Sister, My buddy...Kid sister and me!"   What about Teddy Ruxpin?  I know you all had those - I loved that darn bear.   And Gloworms?  Girls - Strawberry Shortcake dolls that blew strawberry smelling kisses when you squeezed their tummys?  Oh man - definitely a flashback but a good one - I had a great childhood.

I had the my buddy kid sister with brown hair, she was a perfect size. Cuz she was the older sister to my other dolls cuz she was big lol

I remember teddy ruxtin and glow worm but I never had one, i think i wanted the talking bear but it never happened.
