The dog is totally out of control. She told me if Oprah could have a magazine, she didn't see why she couldn't have one too. So here is her first issue. Poor Katie doesn't realize there is more to a magazine than the cover!  |

Very cute. Sydney and Sonic thought so as well. Sonic likes her in her dress. Sydney said never would she wear a dress. Loves her fleeces and sweat shirts with bandanas. |

well, all i know is she was snuggling with me in bed this morning and broke the news to me that she had her own magazine in publication saying if Oprah could do it so could she. what else can I say????

Jan, I showed Nora the cover and she got very excited. She has a new photo shoot she wants you to see, perhaps she can be the next brooke sheilds and do a modeling Project for the zine. She is very lovely as you will see in the new pics (once her daddy gets them up) - in the old style glamor way --I think she looks like a young Ava Gardiner or even Vivien Leigh (don't tell Katie that, though).
uh--what would the pay be for a budding super model --- her high end kibble is putting me in the poor house

She is afraid since you did not answer her about her modeling for your mag that you might think she is not slim enough--she has decided to cut down to one third a cup of kibble a day and has started smoking and drinking coffee---I might have to send her to rehab--maybe you could throw her a "bone" and let her do and add for bully sticks at least. She chews like no-body's business since she has started this diet thing. You know in Mexico they do not care if there females are a little full bodied--but I do go on way to much. |

Oh my goodness! KS is so sorry she has not responded to Nora's post. She has been so busy with the campaign and now the magazine. In fact, she is working on the final pages of this month's magazine now. She does want Nora to send photos because she would love to use her in future issues (and oh yes, there will be future issues) Katie Scarlett will have features on fashion, food, sports, and all things that intersest Ratties! And, tell Nora not to worry about weight -- KS loves any Rattie that makes her look petite. We are anxiously awaiting photos and already have articles in mind for the August issue!

Nora tearfully says she does not make KS look petite in anyway shape of form--and will prove it in her post diet lay out due this holiday weekend.

--Nora has been troubled since we got her from the breeder-it was assumed that she would remain as the family pet, but when they realized that they could make twice as much money cause she was blue--they cheerfully sold her to me---Since then she has been overly worried about her appearence thinking she is an ugly duckling becasue she is a different color than most of her rattie race. So then she became obsessed with her wieght and size. I was told she was a mini and I told her that, but it appears that she will be a standard. I have tried to explian to her nothing is wrong with that, but I fear she has picked up on my obsession with wieght and size.
I take full responsiblity for Nora's neurois as I should have found other blue dogs for her to socialize with rather than mainstream her.----
Maybe we can do a special feature on Dog's of different Color's or something to affirm her confidence.
Sorry this is such a long message. I need to get a life.

well, you tell nora that ks is a standard also and ks is full of self-confidence, as we all know. ks will be happy to work with nora, so long as nora doesn't start making ks look too shabby. hahahaha perhaps a confidence building photo spread will do the trick with ks sharing beauty and fashion secrets! |

Oh my....I love Katies' new mag! Of course, you will have to hire the supermodel rattie, Tinkerbelle. She has done several spreads in other non-mentionable mag's. Right now, she has put on a few pounds, so maybe we'll save her cover for the fall. I think she ate a cantalope! |
