We have a video camera that uses videotapes - not a digital video camera.  How would I get these videos in a digital format so I could upload one to this site?  Would it have to be converted or copied to a DVD first?

I have no idea, Pam! I know you have to have a special "port" in order to capture the analog video to convert it to digital format. But I don't know how to do it. I think there are places that do it though!

$299 at best buy its a cassette to DVD recorder .......... mymom has one and we usedto to convert all her old wedding video tapes to DVD and such. once in DVD all u do is save to your PC and upload to www.photobucket.com or pixeljunction.net

OOORRRR take it to a photography or WOLF camera shop, they should hav ethe equptment there

Okay, thanks! I can't afford the machine right now, so I might take it to Wolf and see how much it would cost.
