So, Lake Erie looked a little like the ocean for Sunday's fishing trip!! Takes a lot of work and muscles just to maintain balance on a day like this!!

It's not always that rough - though sometimes it's worse. The fish bite much better when it's choppy - we even call it a "walleye chop". The flatter the lake, the harder it is to catch fish. But days like the one above are a little too wavy ... seems like everything has to be just right for those darn picky fish

It wouldn't bother me,i've been on lakes that were rough enough to make the bass boat i was in come completely out of the water.kind of a cool feeling when you look down and see the water is about 4 ft below you while traveling down the lake!.

Tracey, next time you're filming your hubby, tell him he needs to do "color commentary" like they do on the fishing shows on TV.

I don't think he knew what I was doing...but I'll mention it next time, but I'll have to remind him not to be too "colorful"
