I taught Sam how to play "hide and Seek"...I tell him to stay in one room (I have to keep saying stay and looking back or the little stinker will try and peak) and I hide in another room, under a blanket, or behind a door. He gets really excited when he finds me!

I still can't put up videos, but here's the link, anyway. (It's hard to get a good picture/video of his head because it's black)

And ignore my high pitched, 'doggy' voice.

Cute! We play this game sort of. Sometimes when the dogs are outside I will hide and they find me when they come in. No matter if he just saw me, Zip always seeks me out when he comes in side, it's sort of funny and sweet. He just likes to know where I am.

I love this...how sweet he is.
Years ago I had a rescued dog that was collie/golden mix. She didn't want to EVER leave my side. I would play hide and seek with her. I don't think she thought it was as much fun as I did.

Hey Sara! Another fun game you can play .....

Get three plastic cups.... have him watch you put the treats underneath one of them (turn them all upside down.... set them about three feet apart). Take him in another room for 30 seconds or so... then let him come in and see how fast he can find the glass that the treats are under. While he's doing this say "find it"....

It's a fun thing to watch ... it stimultes them mentally...and helps reinforce the "find it" command which you can later use in different situations.

Thanks Nora! I just tried it, and he really enjoyed it! That's another game I can play with him.
Another thing I'll do it get 3 cups, place a treat under one, and shuffle the cups while he's watching. Then I let him find it. I hide the treat in a certain cup all the time or in the same spot (on the left, right, or middle) and see if he can figure out the spot it's always under.
