This is my heart dog mikey, he died when I was 11. This dog was my love, I still cry over him. He died mysteriously, it's suspected someone posioned him. Within 24 hours my entire life was turned upside down, I thought the grief would kill me and was so sure that I would die to. I love him so much, he was my first rattie. I got hime when I was 5. I had few friends, and when I'd get sad I'd cry to him.. he was the most beautiful dog I've ever known. Mikey loved me and I loved him, I know it sounds silly but I have no better way to say it. My mikey, my amazing little man... I miss you so so so very much. Here is my video, the little girl in the video is me. that was a sweet video......I had a cat for 6 years when I was little and when he died I felt the same way. When I look at pics of him today I still cry! They were a part of our childhood and its hard to let them go. He was a cute rattie by the way!

How sweet Karen. I'm posting my own heart dog to your post. God Bless you. This is my heart dog Jimmy. I love him so much. He has been gone almost four years. My mom is in these pictures and she has been gone for 12 years now. Hard to believe we can go on when we loose the ones we love the most. But we carry on and we carry those we lost in our hearts. I love my dogs I have now very much, but they can never ever replace my Jimmy. He was baby. I really miss him and my mom too.

Thanks guys, he was a big part of my life. He died a week after we bought minnie to the day. I had a hard time clinging to min because of what happened, I was mad because she was alive and mikey wasn't. Now mins my best friend, but once you have that one dog.. that one that just is your heart dog you love your other dogs but the love is always different. I love all my dogs so much, but none of them will ever be Mikey.

Aww! What a sweet video! Just a bout made me cry!!!!!!! Isn't it amazing how just one person, animal or really anything can have such a huge impact on our lives. And not just one life, but the lives of other, too.

Sweet video ...I'm sorry for your loss! I lost my German Shepherd Luke in 2001 to Fibroid Sarcoma. He was 2 years old! I still feel like it was yesterday that we had to put him down. The grief never goes away He was my heart dog...
