My mom's dog does the same thing with Greenies. She finally had to stop buying them because he got so obsessed with them and would beg constantly.
He is allowed one a day only. Doesn't make him happy but too bad, so sad. But he has his other treats in between. But let 9:30 pm roll around and if he hasn't had one he will tell you, Mommy I gotta brush my teeth. And have a fit til he gets it too.
