ok, i KNOW its not the healthiest choice, but I have TONS of leftover hamburger rolls and some thawed chicken breasts, eggs and italian bread crumbs...i was thinking a breaded/fried chicken sandwich for dinner sounds good!

do i just dip in the egg, dip in the breadcrumbs and put in a thin layer of hot oil in a pan?

Will they be nasty?

any advice would be appreciated......

(and dont you dare tell me to GRILL the chicken breast although i know its better for me!  LOL)

If you want the coating to stick well - dry off meat, lightly flour, then egg, and then crumbs, mix a little butter in the oil, it will make the chicken taste amazing - you won't even want the bun!

If you want the breading to stick well do a light dredge in flour first, then through the egg, then the bread crumbs. Drain well before you put them on the buns. Have fun!

You can always use cornstarch if you don't have flour for the dredging
