wow...I just have to share with you guys...I made this Microwave fudge last night and it is SOOOO good...it took NO TIME, no candy thermometer, no stovetop, no marshmallow, no condensed milk....WOW im impressed!

OK there are a few hints...It sets SUPER DUPER FAST so the way I did it is mix up the sugar and cocoa REALLY WELL in a big bowl first...try to kind of wisk it to get any potential lumps out.....measure the milk and butter together and microved it so that the butter is melted and the milk is hot....premeasure the vanilla so that you can pour in the milk/butter mixture and vanilla at the same time...then instead of stirring i used a mixer...for about 2 minuts maybe ...until its smooth...then you have to spoon it into the pan and even smooth it out....remember it HARDENS FAST...now..it wont look pretty cause it hardens too fast...but it tastes SOO GOOD if you do it right...WOW im so impressed...LOL

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  1. Grease a 9x9 inch dish.
  2. In a microwave safe bowl, stir together confectioners' sugar and cocoa. Pour milk over mixture and place butter in bowl. Do not mix. Microwave until butter is melted, 2 minutes. Stir in vanilla and stir vigorously until smooth. Pour into prepared dish.
  3. Chill in freezer 10 minutes before cutting into squares.

Sounds easy peasy!!! Do you have to use real butter? Or did you use margarine?

Did you try putting it in the fridge?  Margarine doesn't set up as well after melted.  And Heck, if all else fails who cares, you can always use a spoon!!

Worst case, if it won't set, use it as hot fudge over ice cream!
