Father-in-law gave us his because he did not use it. It came with no book for instructions so does anyone have an outdoor smoker and would like to share with me what you cook on it and how?

Oh, honey, I'll have to get hubby to reply to this post. He is the Smoker King! Briskets, hams, turkeys, ribs (pork & beef) ...he's done them all. You can also use it like a regular BBQ can't you?

If you Google the brand name often you can contact the manufacturer for a user's/instructions manual for your model number (for a small fee or even free, sometimes).  They often include recipes.  I've gone back to manuf. for manuals often.

My Dad used to do everything in his smoker. He said the meat always came out real moist because of the water pan near the coals.   But he never used it when we were there, so sorry, I can't offer any  suggestions.

Thanks Pam and Peggy, sorry I am just catching up on these posts now. Pam sounds like your husband and mine need to talk... LOL Peggy my husband has as you suggested gone directly to the manufacturer's website, I can't recall what he told me at the moment so I will have to ask him and let you know. Just wanted to say thanks!!
