Buy a roast of your choice. Season and if desired stuff with onions and peppers.

Sometime around 8:00pm - 9:00pm, Brown roast on stove in a skillet. Add onions and brown for five more minutes. Place roast in crock pot and scrap all juices/onions from pot into crock pot as well. Set on low and go to bed.

When you get up in the morning around 6:00am your roast is cooked perfectly and is ready to turn off.

Do you add water or anything to it? I always put carrots and potatos in around the 6 hour mark.(of a 10 hour cook)

No I never add any water or anything. your roast will make it's own juices but you have to never open the lid while cooking. Oh and adding carrots and potatos in the end is a great idea. By this time the gravy part has already be made and you can safely open the lid.

Ok, I have a crock pot!! I can do this! But beware I am a cooking idiot... so I ask stupid ques.

So you turn this off in the morning, do you leave it sit out until dinner? or put it in the fridge? And then how do you re-heat? Just put it in the oven for a bit?

Remeber, there are no such things as stupid questions

LOL... During the morning I will transfer the roast to a tray and slice it. I place my slices in an oven proof glass dish(or anything similar works fine) and pour my gravy over it. Then I will cover it with the glass cover or aluminum foil and place in the fridge. When you want to heat it up you can place it in the oven until heated but don't cook/bake it just heat.
